Following are license details and instructions for purchase of the JaxterChat ASP.NET Chat Control.

WebFurbish offers two 'no nonsense' licensing models for JaxterChat as well as a free Trial Version for developers to evaluate the product within their own environment.



Trial License: $0.00 FREE (Evaluation version including reminder messages) License allows for any number of developer seats to work with the chat component for evaluation / development purposes. A reminder to purchase the control will be appended to every message sent through JaxterChat.


Website License: USD $59.95 License allows for one website only to run the JaxterChat on. The chat may be used on any number of pages within that website and can be moved between servers without need to re-register.

Enterprise License: USD $299.00 License allows for any number of websites being hosted by any number of web servers full use of the JaxterChat control.

Subject to these Terms, Web Furbish hereby grants to you a non-exclusive limited licence to install and use the software supplied by Web Furbish on acceptance of these Terms (“the software”). 3. You acknowledge that the software comprises protected proprietary information, copyright, material, trademarks and other intellectual property owned by Web Furbish and you hereby agree not to sell, assign, license, sub-license, distribute, duplicate, reverse engineer, copy, modify or otherwise exploit the software without the express prior permission of Web Furbish. 4. The software is supplied "as is" and to the extent permitted by law all conditions, warranties and undertakings, express or implied, are expressly excluded. 5. Liability of Web Furbish for breach of a non-excludable condition or warranty is limited at the option of Web Furbish, to reimbursement of the licence fee paid by you or the amount of USD $50.00, whichever is the lesser amount. 6. Web Furbish and its affiliates, servants officers and agents shall not be liable (in tort, contract or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss whatsoever and howsoever arising including without limitation, personal injury, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity or loss of use. 7. You agree that you did not rely on any representation, skill or judgment of Web Furbish in relation to the suitability of the software for any particular purpose. Any advice, recommendation, information or assistance provided by Web Furbish is provided without any liability by the Web Furbish whatsoever. 8. You agree to indemnify and hold Web Furbish and its affiliates, servants, officers and agents harmless from any claim, demand, suit, action, judgments, including costs, made by any third party in connection with the software or its use.

Scenario: 'I want to add the JaxterChat control to my single website to allow users to chat with each other in realtime in one of seven chat rooms.

In this scenario, the basic 'Website License' would suffice as this is a single website install. This licensing model allows for any number of chat rooms within a single website.

Scenario: 'I build websites for various clients and would like to use JaxterChat on different jobs which might be hosted by different web servers each time.

In this scenario, the 'Enterprise License' would be required. This would allow you to use JaxterChat in any number of web projects without the need to purchase multiple 'Website' licenses.
